Intrado were the appointed Civil and Structural Engineers on this 2 storey care home with the ancillary spaces dedicated to a small wing in Abergavenny, South Wales. The project provides a 70 bed care home for elderly people requiring specialist nursing and dementia care.
The structural design is timber frame with traditional strip foundations. Being part of a wider development the access road and drainage connections are provided by others. The on-site drainage includes for attenuation to reduce the surface water run-off from the site.
